Purplefarm

Purplefarm is a Canadian licensed cannabis producer led by founder and chief executive Mitchell Alswiti, with Jonathan Whittaker as chief operating officer and Dustin Wilson as chief financial officer. Its licensed operations began in 2020 at an origin facility in Johnstown, Ontario, and commercial sales started in 2021. The Health Canada register lists the Fredericton entity as Purplefarm Genetics (Fredericton) Inc. Purplefarm does not publish a headquarters city, a stock ticker, or a parent company.

The Johnstown facility covers 15,000 square feet with 1,200 kilograms of annual capacity, and the Fredericton, New Brunswick, facility, added in 2022, covers 100,000 square feet with 7,000 kilograms of annual capacity. Together they give 115,000 square feet, 44,000 square feet of active canopy, and 21 cultivation rooms. The company completed a GACP audit in 2023, expanded volume into Germany in 2024, and received its first UK purchase order that year. Cultivars are grouped into the OGs + Gas, Outliers, and Desserts lines, plus a Party Pack pre-roll.

Purplefarm sells through authorized retailers in Canada and lists Germany and the United Kingdom as additional markets. Retailers and export buyers can reach the team through the contact page on its website. The site lists rotating cultivar releases with expected THC ranges, for example Lime Runtz at 28% to 34% and Miracle Mints at 29% to 35%, and a cultivar library for buyers to browse.
