Native Roots operates about 20 medical and recreational cannabis dispensaries across Colorado, from the Denver metro area and Boulder to mountain towns such as Aspen, Frisco and Dillon, and southern Colorado including Colorado Springs and Trinidad. The company is vertically integrated, growing its own flower and manufacturing extracts, edibles, beverages and topicals sold in its stores.

Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Denver, Native Roots describes itself as the largest locally and privately owned dispensary chain in the Rocky Mountain region. It remains privately held, with no outside parent company or public stock listing.
