Leaf Trade operates a wholesale cannabis marketplace and order-management platform connecting cultivators, brands and distributors with dispensary buyers. It handles inventory upload, order lifecycle management, Leaf Pay payment automation, buyer-tier pricing, in-platform messaging and advertising, and integrates with Metrc, BioTrack and Dutchie for compliance/inventory data and QuickBooks Online/Sage Intacct for accounting. The company reports 25+ markets, 2,500+ active dispensary buyers, 200+ listing brands and over $500 million in annual order volume across roughly 1 million completed transactions.

Founded in 2016 in Chicago, IL by James Yi, Leaf Trade later relocated its headquarters to Denver, CO. In November 2024 it was acquired by LeafLink (New York) in a deal both companies said would combine to facilitate nearly $9 billion in annual wholesale GMV; the two platforms have continued operating separately as "as-is" products while a full technology integration is rolled out.
