Berlin Packaging is one of the world's largest hybrid packaging suppliers, and its Cannabis & CBD division sells plastic, glass, and metal containers alongside child-resistant and tamper-evident closures for flower, edibles, topicals, tinctures, and CBD/cannabis beverages. Customers get access to Berlin's in-house Studio One D design team, decorating and labeling services, regulatory-compliance guidance, and a global supply chain — the same infrastructure the company applies across its beverage, food, personal-care, and pharma accounts. It is a generalist packaging distributor with a cannabis-focused catalog, not a cannabis-exclusive manufacturer.

Founded in 1988 (built on a Chicago container business dating to 1898) and headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, Berlin Packaging operates 130+ sales offices and warehouses in more than 20 countries. It is majority-owned by private equity firm Oak Hill Capital Partners (since 2014), with CPP Investments joining as a co-investor in 2021 and founder Andrew T. Berlin retaining a minority stake. Cannabis/CBD is one vertical among many the company serves at large scale.
