Apex Trading is a wholesale cannabis commerce platform giving cultivators, manufacturers, brands and distributors order management, inventory sync, branded storefronts and client/sales-rep tools, while retailers and dispensary buyers get standardized ordering and product discovery. The platform integrates with Metrc for real-time inventory tracking and pushes orders directly into QuickBooks for financial reconciliation, and it auto-attaches Certificates of Analysis to invoices. It reports 8,000+ clients and over $1 billion in wholesale orders filled across 29 state markets, with customers including Cookies, Wyld, Buddies and Planet 13.

Founded in January 2018 in Denver, CO by Rob Fess, John Manlove and Willy Wheeler — three former employees of Tradiv, an earlier Denver wholesale marketplace that collapsed in late 2017 amid leadership turmoil and litigation. Apex Trading is privately held; its current headquarters and contact address is listed as Portland, OR, though it retains a strong Colorado client base and a Colorado-focused product line.
