Wana Brands

Wana says it was founded in 2010 in Boulder, Colorado, by co-founder Nancy Whiteman, who started in a Colorado kitchen, and describes itself as woman-founded. Its current site does not state a headquarters address. A press release from Canopy Growth Corporation dated October 9, 2024 says Canopy USA, LLC completed its purchase of Wana, including Wana Wellness, LLC, The CIMA Group, LLC and Mountain High Products, LLC, and now owns all of the equity; Canopy Growth describes its own stake in Canopy USA as a non-controlling interest. The same release names Joe Hodas as president of Wana Brands.

The product range is gummies made with fruit pectin rather than gelatin, which Wana markets as vegan and resistant to melting. Gummies are grouped by strain class, as indica, hybrid and sativa formulas with added terpene blends, and by collection: Classic, Quick, a fast-acting line built with technology partner Azuca, and the black-label Specialized line. Many SKUs combine THC with CBD, CBG or CBN in stated ratios, and the site lists more than 20 flavors.

Wana's contact page splits wholesale into three regions. The western team covers Arizona, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico and Nevada; the midwestern team covers Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, Ohio, Oklahoma and Puerto Rico; and the eastern team covers Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey and New York. Each region has its own inbox, and the contact form lets a sender identify as a wholesaler. The FAQ says every batch is tested and that the store locator runs on inventory reported by dispensaries. Wana does not publish wholesale pricing or explain its production setup in each state.
