SC Labs provides state-specific and national compliance testing, cannabinoid/terpene profiling, contaminant testing (pesticides, heavy metals, mycotoxins, microbial impurities), R&D/QC testing, and specialized services including kratom, environmental, wine smoke-taint and HLVd/viroid testing, with chemometric reporting and a client portal offering roughly 3-day turnaround. It reports 8,900+ customers and 740,000+ certificates of analysis issued to date.

Founded in 2010 in Santa Cruz, CA by co-founders Alec Dixon, Jeff Gray and Josh Wurzer, SC Labs expanded into a multi-state network in 2022 by combining with Colorado's Agricor Laboratories and hemp-focused Botanacor Laboratories under new CEO Jeff Journey. It opened a Los Angeles location and, in May 2023, acquired Arizona's C4 Laboratories, bringing its footprint to California, Colorado, Michigan, Oregon and Arizona plus nationwide hemp testing.
