ProVerde Laboratories

ProVerde Laboratories is an ISO 17025-accredited analytical lab providing cannabis and hemp testing and certification, plus extraction, formulation and consulting services, with an emphasis on medical marijuana patient safety. The company also applies its chromatography-based methods to biotechnology, pharmaceutical R&D, diagnostics and pharmacogenetics work, and markets its approach as generating far less hazardous waste than conventional testing methods.

Founded in January 2013 by CEO Dorian A. Des Lauriers and Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Christopher Hudalla, ProVerde is headquartered at 420 Fortune Boulevard, Milford, MA. The founders self-funded roughly $2 million in lab equipment in their first two years and earned ISO 17025:2005 accreditation early on. A satellite Portland, ME location was temporarily shut down by regulators in 2021 over a licensing lapse; the Milford, MA lab remains the company's active facility.
