Harris Sliwoski

Harris Sliwoski (formerly Harris Bricken, later merged with Sliwoski Law) has represented cannabis clients since 2010, starting under Washington's medical cannabis framework, and publishes the long-running Canna Law Blog (since 2012). The cannabis group handles business formation and structuring, M&A, IP protection, corporate governance, taxation, licensing, real estate, cannabis banking, distribution contracts, administrative hearings, and litigation, with core state expertise in Arizona, California, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington. In 2024 the firm added cannabis attorneys from Cultiva Law and Lotus Law.

The firm was founded in Seattle, which remains one of its largest offices, and now operates five U.S. offices (Seattle, Portland, Denver, Los Angeles, Phoenix) plus international offices in Australia, Spain, Portugal, and Mexico, giving it roughly 20 years in business overall as a firm.
