Green Roads was founded in 2013 in South Florida by pharmacist Laura Fuentes and Arby Barroso. It was acquired by Canadian cannabis company The Valens Company in 2021, which was in turn acquired by publicly traded SNDL Inc. (Nasdaq: SNDL) in 2023; the brand continues to operate its own site and e-commerce out of Deerfield Beach, Florida.
