Frontier Risk Group, Inc. and Frontier Risk Insurance Services LLC list a single address, on Rowayton Avenue in Norwalk, Connecticut. The firm built its pitch on a leadership team of former cannabis operators: CEO James Whitcomb, President Peter Berg and Chief Legal Officer and COO Courtney Stough, with managing directors Eric Schneider and Isaac Bock, whom it hired in November 2024 to run brokerage. On August 11, 2026, NFP, an Aon company, announced it had acquired the retail cannabis business of Frontier Risk Group, with Schneider joining NFP as a senior vice president in its healthcare and life sciences practice. The release says Frontier Risk Group will now focus on Strata Specialty, its program-manager business.

The frontierrisk.com site still presents the cannabis brokerage as it ran before the sale. It keeps license-specific pages for cultivation, extraction, manufacturing, distribution, delivery, laboratories, events, multi-state operators, hemp and THC beverages, and coverage pages for general and product liability, property, commercial package and business owner's policies, commercial auto, cargo and motor truck cargo, builders' risk, crime, cyber, directors and officers, employment practices, errors and omissions, management liability, excess liability, surety bonds and workers' compensation. It advertises online quoting from multiple carriers and a customer portal for certificates, claims and policy documents.

As of this check the site carries no notice of the NFP acquisition, but its footer contact now points to an NFP email address and its copyright line reads 2025. NFP's own site has a newsroom release on the deal but no separate cannabis practice page. Buyers who quote through frontierrisk.com should confirm which entity will act as broker of record before binding. Frontier Risk does not publish pricing. Its newsroom shows press items from 2023 and one announcement from November 2024.
