Cannabis Facility Construction, known as CFC, is a division of Mosaic Construction and works only on regulated cannabis facilities. Its site lists an office at 4201 Lake Cook Road in Northbrook, Illinois, a mailing address at 5500 Pearl Street in Rosemont, and operations in Chicago, Northbrook and Wisconsin. The footer also links to a sister firm, DCC Inc. CFC says that since 2015 it has built or has in process more than 90 cultivation facilities, processing and infusion centers and dispensaries in 14 states, for multi-state operators, start-ups and independent owners. Founders Andy Poticha, chief executive, Ira Singer and Mike Frazin lead the firm.

Its four-stage approach covers design-build consultation with site assessments and pre-construction planning, design, construction and close-out. Services include facility design-build, construction management, security planning and permitting and compliance support, and the firm describes turnkey help from site assessment, zoning and permitting through equipment recommendations, security and certificate of occupancy. On design, CFC will work with an architect the client chooses or bring one of its regular design partners, so an operator that already has an architect can keep that firm on the project.

Operators request a consultation through the contact page; CFC does not publish pricing. It offers downloadable brochures, podcasts and a blog, and runs a page for new Illinois cannabis licensees. CFC is a sponsoring partner of the National Cannabis Industry Association and the Cannabis Business Association of Illinois. The portfolio page loads project images without written descriptions or client names, so buyers should ask for named references from projects in their own state and for the share of work CFC self-performs versus subcontracts.
