BGM (Bridge West)

BGM (formally Boeckermann Grafstrom & Mayer) is a Minnesota-based CPA and advisory firm whose cannabis group grew out of Bridge West, a specialist cannabis accounting practice founded in 2009 that consolidated into BGM in 2023. The team provides IRC 280E compliance and mitigation strategy, business/state/local/international tax services, financial statement audits and compilations, outsourced CFO/controller and profit-improvement work, business valuation, M&A and forensic accounting, and pre- and post-licensing advisory for cultivators, processors, medical and recreational dispensaries, hemp farmers, and retail/ecommerce cannabis operators nationwide.

BGM is headquartered in Bloomington, Minnesota (7900 International Drive), with additional US offices in Sauk Centre, MN; Naples, FL; Longmont, CO; and West Des Moines, IA, plus an office in Hyderabad, India. It is an independent firm affiliated with the MGI North America accounting network; the cannabis practice is led by Calvin Shannon, CPA, CVA, Principal and Consulting Practice Leader.
