Aeropay

Aeropay, legally Aero Payments, Inc., is a bank-payments company headquartered in Chicago. Its careers page describes a hybrid team that works from the Chicago headquarters, and a January 2026 press release announced an expanded headquarters. The corporate site, aeropay.com, sells to gaming, e-commerce, subscription and marketplace businesses, while goaeropay.com is the cannabis site, where Aeropay calls itself a compliance-first platform for pay by bank. Its newsroom lists a $20 million Series B announced in May 2024 and bank partnerships with Cross River, MVB Bank and Regent Bank. Neither site states a founding year or names executives.

For dispensaries, Aeropay replaces cards with bank transfers over ACH. Shoppers link an account through Aerosync, the company's own bank-connection tool, which it says reaches more than 12,000 banks. They then pay in store by QR code or payment link, prepay online, or pay at delivery. Guard is its fraud and risk layer. The site claims 15-second first-time onboarding, 20% higher first-time conversion, processing costs 50% lower than cards, and same-day or faster settlement. Developers get APIs for custom checkouts and an SDK for a pre-built one, and Aeropay cites SOC 2 Type II certification.

Aeropay lists integrations with cannabis POS, e-commerce, delivery and loyalty software, and its brand logos include Curaleaf, Verano, Green Thumb, Cookies and Rise. Its guides argue that dispensaries should avoid card processing and cashless ATMs and use bank transfers instead. Aeropay does not publish merchant pricing; retailers book a demo. Its corporate press releases on gaming and instant payments (Jack Henry, Socure, the RTP network) describe rails that its cannabis product shares, but the cannabis site does not say which features are live for dispensaries.
