Trade Shows & Conferences

The organizers behind the industry's B2B calendar: MJBizCon, NECANN, Hall of Flowers, regional expos and investor conferences. Each profile lists upcoming and past editions from the Cannabis Calendar, who attends, and how to exhibit — so vendors can plan the year and organizers can keep their dates on the record.

Cannabis trade shows split into a few types, and knowing which is which saves a lot of travel budget. National B2B expos (MJBizCon) put every part of the supply chain on one floor and are where ancillary vendors do most of their annual prospecting. State and regional conventions (NECANN, Lucky Leaf, CannaCon) track new markets as they open and draw licence applicants and local operators. Curated retailer–brand shows (Hall of Flowers, MJ Unpacked) restrict attendance to licence holders and are built around wholesale relationships rather than exhibitor volume. Investor conferences (Benzinga) and accessory-channel shows (CHAMPS, TPE) serve narrower audiences.

Each organizer profile below pulls its editions from the Cannabis Calendar — dates are marked confirmed only when they come from the organizer's own site — and links to the exhibitor and registration pages. Organizers can claim their profile free to keep dates, venues and audience details current.

Questions about trade shows & conferences

What is the biggest cannabis trade show?
MJBizCon, held at the Las Vegas Convention Center each December, is the largest B2B cannabis conference and expo. Most ancillary vendors treat it as the anchor of their event year; regional shows fill in the rest of the calendar.
Which cannabis conferences are worth exhibiting at as a vendor?
It depends on who you sell to. Selling to dispensaries and brands nationally: MJBizCon first, then curated retailer shows like Hall of Flowers or MJ Unpacked if you can qualify. Selling into a specific new state: that state's NECANN or Lucky Leaf edition, timed to licensing. Selling accessories, glass or hemp products: CHAMPS and TPE reach the smoke-shop channel.
How far ahead are cannabis conference dates published?
Large organizers publish nine to twelve months out; regional shows often three to six. The Cannabis Calendar marks a date confirmed only once the organizer publishes it, and shows earlier estimates as "est." so you can pencil them in without booking on them.
Are there cannabis trade shows outside the United States?
Yes — ICBC Berlin is the established European business conference, Spannabis (now in Bilbao) is Europe's largest fair, and Canada and Latin America have national shows. The calendar tags these as international so you can include or exclude them.
How do I get my event listed?
Organizers are listed free. Use the calendar submission form with the dates, venue and a link to your official event page; a person checks the source before it goes on the calendar, and you can claim the profile to keep it current.
